Joy of Life

Something that is taken in fragments Enjoying moments Bits and pieces of happiness Putting them together like puzzle piece Hoping to one day finish it And feel whole Happiness doesn’t come in portions It’s in everything Everywhere Happiness is wherever there is life and love The joy of life Shouldn’t be based on anything external For what is external in not eternal Life is existence What is external will always leave But eternal love and happiness Is forever immortal Life goes on The flesh and bones can leave But the soul’s heart will always beat Tiana Elise Holmon
