You held my hand when I was small You caught me when I fell. You’re the hero of my childhood And my later years as well. Every time I think of you My heart still fills with pride. Though I’ll always miss you, daddy I know you are by my side. In laughter and in sorrow In the sunshine and through rain, I know you’re watching over me Until we meet again.

Love you forever, Vee

The way we live our lives is our true obituary. We are happy that Dwight wrote his own life story as a father, son, brother, grandfather, and as a friend. We rejoice in the fact that Dwight is resting in the arms of Jesus. We the family of Dwight Simpson wish to express our deepest gratitude for the calls, cards, visits, and much-needed prayers you have showered upon us during our time of bereavement. We would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Lanetta Clark, Mr. Boizell Gray, and The West Clinic staff on Union Avenue. Thank you,

~The Family

Your Granddaughter

I am sending a dove to heaven With a package on its wings. Be careful when you open it It’s full of wonderful things. Inside are a million kisses Wrapped up in a million hugs. To say how much I miss you And to send you all my love. I hold you close within my heart And there you will remain. To walk with me throughout my life Until we meet again.

Love you, granddaddy, Big Girl
