ames Lester Robinson, AKA “Boot,” was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on March 18, 1942. To the late Maudell and Robert Robinson. Robert Jr. and Willie Nell proceed him in death. James attended George Washington Carver High School in Tupelo, MS. After high school, he joined The United States Army, where he served in Vietnam. He was a member of The Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS, until moving to Memphis. December 31, 1971, he was united in holy matrimony to Esther Williams, to whom he leaves to cherish a marriage of 49 years of Materal Bliss! He obtained a job working at Kimco Auto Parts until he was hired at Memphis Defense Depot for 18 years until they closed. He was employed with FedEx, where he retired in 2009. James leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Esther Robinson of 49 years, a daughter Karen Robinson and a son, Kevin Robinson, one grandson, David Robinson, great grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, Eugene Williams, AV (JoAnne), Williams, sistersin-law, Beverly Williams, Magnolia Wright.
