“G

od takes hurt and pain from people. Often times, God takes people away from hurt and pain. So please don’t weep for me, I’ll see you again.”

Love Always, Jesse

Missing My Jesse No words I write can ever say, how much I miss you every day. As time goes by the loneliness grows, how much I miss you, nobody knows. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. But all I have are memories and a photo in a frame. No one knows my sorrow. No one sees me weep. But the love I have for you is in my heart to keep. I’ve never stopped loving you - I know I never will. Deep inside my heart, you are with me still. Heartaches in this world are many, but mine is worse than any. My heart still aches as I whisper low, “I love you and miss you so.” The things we feel so deeply are often the hardest to say. But I just can’t keep quiet anymore, so I’ll tell you anyway. There is a place in my heart, that no one else can fill. I love you so, my precious child ...and I always will!

Love You Always, Mom

A Special Brother Brother since you’ve passed away life just hasn’t been the same. I would move heaven and earth just to have you here with me again. The time we spent together meant the world to me, I have many treasured memories as we grew up together, happily. I’m so grateful for the years we had, and the closeness that we shared. Your thoughtfulness and loyalty and the way you always cared. You were a wonderful brother. I miss you so. You were more than just my family… you were a kind and supportive friend.

I Miss You Dad He loved me for who I was and accepted me for who I strived to become. Dads are strong for a reason… Their strength gives us a sense of protection. Now that you are in Heaven, I know that you will continue to protect me. Thanks for being My Dad. I will always love and miss you! Until We Meet Again. From Juice

My Son He never looked for praises, never one to boast. He just went on quietly working for the ones he loved most. His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few. And most of the time, his worries were unspoken, too. He was there…A firm foundation through all of our storms of life, A sturdy hand to hold on to, in times of stress and strife. A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad. One of greatest blessings, the one we call Son. Jesse not having your presence in my life has definitely knocked the wind out of me. My heart is aching. It’s said you’re in a better place but I am left with an empty space.

Love You Always, Pops

Jesse

was the epitome of a family man, carrying on the traditions that were instilled in him. He was rooted in the four principles of Christ, Family, Love, and Education. Due to family traditions, he was taught to always be a Protector and Provider. He was always supportive of his Family and Friends, making himself available for every family event. He was a doting father of his son Jesse III, affectionately known as “Juice,” eager to train him up in an environment filled with love, structure, and respect. Jesse has never met a stranger. He definitely had the gift of gab, however, a good listener. He’s always been the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Until his death, his warrior-like spirit and strength will always be remembered by everyone who’s crossed his path. He had a massive personality with an infectious smile to match, which will undoubtedly be missed. Jesse enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family during various celebratory occasions. He was a humorous and fun-loving guy. His love for black and gold led him to become a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His siblings loved him beyond measures of their big brother. He was considered their personal Superman and now Guardian Angel. Jesse (“Lil Jesse”) was born on July 10, 1991. He accepted Christ at a very young age. He was baptized on February 15, 1998, at Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of the emeritus Reverend Dr. H.E Davenport. Jesse continued to dedicate his life, serving God as a member of the Youth and Young Adult Choir, Youth Usher, and later a Jr. Deacon. Jesse was a top 25 graduate of Kirby High School and then pursued a degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he joined brotherhood with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Tau Psi, earning the name “BattlePhield” because of his resilience. Jesse’s compassion and love of people led to a career as a Memphis Firefighter in April 2015. While there, one of his friends began to say Jesse was “Saving Lives and Hairlines,” for he was a barber. He was preceded in death by his loving Father Jesse L. Razor, Sr., grandmother Alberta Razor, and greatgrandmother Annie Crawford. Jesse was leaves to cherish everlasting memories his son Jesse L. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalms 23
