My Daughter A daughter is a wonderful blessing, A treasure from above. She’s laughter, warmth and special charm, She’s thoughtfulness and love. A daughter brings a special joy, That comes from deep inside. And as she grows to adulthood, She fills your heart with pride. With every year that passes, She’s more special than before. Through every stage, through every age, You love her even more. No words can describe the warm memories, The pride and gratitude, too. That comes from having a daughter, To love and to cherish...just like you!

For A Special Aunt Talking with you is always a treat. You’re one special Aunt who can’t be beat. Your kindness and love can’t be over looked. You’ll always be number one to us. We’ve shared many good times, our whole life through. And it’s really a pleasure to have an aunt like you. We Love You

Our Sister You gave no one a last farewell, nor ever said good-bye You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. A million times we will miss you, a million times we will cry. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home. We will meet again someday I know in a better place. I thank God He made you my sister While you were here on earth Loved beyond words. Missed beyond measure. Always and Forver In Our Hearts

“Forever in My Heart” The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two: one side was filled with memories: the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep: and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Rememberuing you is easy, I do it everyday; but missung you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain: you see life has gone on without you, but will never be the same

eitra “Katt” Berna Jones, daughter of Donna M. Key and Keith Jones, was born June 9, 1990, in Memphis, TN. She was a cheerleader and a proud graduate from East High School c/o 2008. Keitra attended the University of Memphis through her Junior year and decided to take a different path doing something she enjoyed. She later decided to get her license to become a bartender. After bartending at other establishments, she joined the “Tin Roof” staff. At Tin Roof, Keitra gained another family that she always spoke so highly about. Keitra was such a free spirit that loved people; that infectious smile and amazing personality drew people to her easily, and she cared for them as if they were family. Keitra kept us all entertained with her “TikTok” videos sharing that contagious personality with the world. Keitra was a beautiful person inside and out; she could make you smile on your worst day. Keitra will leave behind a wonderful life partner, a super supportive and loving family, and a plethora of friends and loved ones. She departed this life Monday, May 24, 2021 As a young child, we knew that Keitra was different and that she would impact the world. Never thought in a million years that this would have been the way she would have left her mark …the impact she made in everyone’s lives will never be forgotten. Keitra was preceded in death by Annie Mae Jones (grandmother) and Grace Anna Davis (great grandmother). Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives and memories of her family and friends: Donna Key (mother), Keith Jones (father), Otis Timothy Key Jr. (father), Sylvia Watson (life partner), Bianca Reed-Jennings (sister), Franchesca Reed-Young (sister), Mia Key–Johnson (sister), Octavia Key (sister), Nethisa Jones (sister), Keith Jones Jr. (brother), Louis Washington Sr., (grandfather), Margaret Watson (grandmother), Otis Key Sr. (grandfather), Marjorie Key (grandmother), Dillon Jennings, (nephew), Sydney Young (niece), Carson Young (nephew), Makiya Key (niece), Malik Johnson (nephew), Jayla Young (niece), Julian Young (nephew), Jason Young (brother-in-law), and Herman Johnson (brother-in-law).

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
