Reflections of Life Robert “Rapool” Graves

was born September 8, 1952, to the late Samuel Parker and Joann Graves Parker. He entered eternal rest on July 2, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital. At an early age he professed his life to Christ and joined Beulah Baptist Church. He later joined Macedonia M. B. Church. Most recently he joined St. John M. B. Church until he departed this life. He attended and graduated from Melrose High School in 1970. He joined the Army where he served for three years. He worked at the University of Memphis and Internal Revenue Service. He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, two sons, Robert N. Graves and Duriel Graves, three sisters; Jennifer Bridgeforth (Glynn) of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Karen Myers (Kenneth) of Memphis, Tennessee, Angela Carr (Fred) Frisco, Texas, six brothers; Larry Parker (Jackie) of Stockbridge, Georgia, James Parker, Anthony Paker, Donald Parker, Ronald Parker and Randy Parker of Memphis, Tennessee, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He also leaves A Very Special Friend, Monique Flynn.
