Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me .In my father house there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I would come again, and receive to myself; that where I am, there you my be also. And where I go you know, and the why you know.
You can only have one mother You can only have one mother Patient kind and true; No other friend in all the world, Will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, To mother you will return, For all her loving kindness, She asks nothing in return. As we look upon her picture, Sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all. Sweet Jesus, take this message, To our dear mother up above; Tell her how we miss her, And give her all our love.. ,Love your children (Leroy ,Sereatha,
Poem to my Grandmother Grandma, where do I start?! You’ve always been there for me, right or wrong. I can’t remember a time you left my side. You raised me to be a strong, wise, outspoken, independent young lady, and that I will always continue to be. One wish you always let be known was to see at least one of your grand babies walk that stage, and that’s what I’m about to do for you Granny. I’m going to look up and say, “I did it!,” with the biggest smile on my face. There is nobody to replace you or the love you hold in my heart. You are the person I look up to and the someone I can always call on. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Granny I love you so much and it’s hard to believe this day arrived so soon, but I know God has his reasons. I love you so much and thanks for always being there everyday.
Love, ‘Kyra (La’Kyra)
GRANNY, THE LOVE OF OUR LIFE
Tasha)
Dear Granny, The Love of Our Life,
You know that we love you with every ounce of love in our bodies. You helped us with so much throughout our life while you were here. You continued to show us the good from the bad, and how to be as strong and independent as you were. We have so many memories but our favorite memory was you just being there for us when we needed you most. We learned that we can get through anything because you showed us how to put up a long, strong fight. As the sun sets upon this life and your body is laid to rest we know you’ll be up in Heaven because God only takes the best. We know you’re watching over us and it takes the pain away. We will carry you in our hearts until we meet again our love.. Forever and Always
DearGrandma, I love you. You’ve been through so much with us. I’m going to miss you. From : Lil Mann and Tyler
Love Your Grandchildren * Dear Granny, You were my role model, now the star that I look up to. You helped me with a lot of things in my life, showing that I can get through all things that life throws at me by putting up my best fight. You helped me learn that life is much more to cherish. As I got older our bond became stronger and stronger. You were my everything, my world, most importantly my grandmother, the person I could always count on. You were my sunlight where the sun didn’t shine, the brightest star of them all. Love, Tay (Taylor)

If Only You Could Stay
Memories of Sereatha Carter
Constantly thinking, never to be the same. The tears fall quickly just hearing your name. Silence is golden, yet not anymore. Silence brings thoughts I just can't ignore. The nights are sleepless, dreams out of reach. Crying in my pillow to you I beseech. Surrounded by family, I still feel alone. My heart is so empty. This pain I must own. I wish I could hug you and just see your face. But now I have memories to stand in your place. Gone but not forgotten that's what they say. Of course that is true. But if only you could have stayed! Love Your Sisters and Brothers
The way you made me feel will never be the same. Your open arms and big heart accepted me just as I came . I thought about how people treated Sister in-laws and imagine my life would be somewhat like theirs, but when I met you and the family it was totally different and now I can explain. I never felt like an in-law but more like a sister , that made my heart glad. I hate to see you go sister but I know I gain an angel instead. Its not goodbye but farewell my friend .I’ll see you one day until we meet again.
