Life’s Reflections

Ms.

Twanda Lynne Macon Tuggle was born in Memphis, TN, to the parents of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie & Erma Macon. Twanda’s faith was strong; as a child, she and her siblings were Baptized at Mt. Pisgah C.M. E. Church by the late Bishop E. Lynn Brown. Twanda was raised in the Historic Orange Mound Community. In her youth, she became the number one flag youth female football player at Southwestern Athletics, which is currently Rhodes College. She was the winner of the Anita Baker performance contest. She is a graduate of Melrose High School Class of 1982, where she was crowned Ms. Melrose and a Legendary Golden Wildcat Cheerleader with her sisters #ThoseLegendaryMaconGirls.

After high school Twanda attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where meaningful friendships were formed and maintained. After spending a few years at UTC, Twanda returned to Memphis because of her entrepreneurial spirit. She matriculated and graduated from Stage One; she was multifaceted: Founder/Owner of “Styles of Dreams” & Dreams Cleaning Service, Uniquely Yours, The Hair Wiz, Manager of Operation at The Orange Mound Beauty Bazaar, A Professional Hair Stylist, Pro-Make Up Artist, Pro-Nail Technician, Masseuse, and Make-Over Artist, as well as being a Make-Over Artist for those who transitioned. Twanda received certification in all the aforementioned. Twanda obtained her Certificate of Ministry and later became the Founder of The Body Christ OutreachMinistry, a Board Member of the L.M.N. Scholarship Foundation, A Charm Etiquette Specialist, and a Mentor.

Twanda’s love for family was immeasurable to cherish her legacy; Mr. Robert Christopher Tuggle was unified in the birth of their Beautiful Daughter, their one and only Christa Amore’Joi Tuggle, and their other precious cargo is Dreamy Dior Tuggle. To treasure her memories, she leaves Mrs. Tonya Lockhart (Uvon, Sr.), Mrs. LaTrina Macon Norman (Melvin), Mr. Johnnie Macon, Jr. Mr. Marlon Macon, Ms. Lynnise Crittendon, Ms. Marchelle Jones and Ms. Marquita Macon.

Twanda leaves her LOVES whom she cherished: Jaimeo, Uvon, Jr., Jayla, Speshal, Lonnie Jr., Marlon, Tyronda, Tyesha, Markesha, and Markayla. Twanda also leaves her beautiful goddaughter, Dr. Twanda Demetria& a host of great nieces and nephews.

Twanda was an extremely diligent worker, ambitious person, and gifted and talented. She was dedicated to family and friends, loved hard, and always made everyone feel special. Twanda had an infectious smile that brightened up the room. She had that unique way of making your day brighter, always positive and giving.

Ms. Twanda Lynne Macon Tuggle, Christa (daughter), and her family would like to thank all of her clients for their support throughout the years. Twanda will be missed immensely.

To My Mom

Mommy, I am forever GRATEFUL For all that you are and YOU HAVE TAUGHT ME TO BE. Mommy, you are Beautiful and soft around the edges. BUT YOU HAD THE STRENGTH OF THE STEEL I hope someday to become at least half THE PERSON YOU ARE MOMMY Mommy, I want to Thank you for the unconditional LOVE AND SUPPORT.

I LOVE YOU, MOMMY SO MUCH I AM GOING TO CONTINUE TO MAKE YOU PROUD Love, Your Baby, Your Daughter Camor’e

For My Beautiful Mom…..

My Mom kept a garden A garden of the heart

She planted all the good things, That gave my life a start. She turned me to the sunshine, And encouraged me to dream.

Fostering and nurturing

The seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rains came, My Mom protected me enough. But not too much, she knew I need

To stand up strong and tough.

Moma’s constant good example, Always taught me right from wrong.

Markers for my pathway

To last my whole life long.

You see, I am Christa Amore’-Joi Tuggle, I am my Mom’s Ms. Twanda Lynne Macon Tuggle’s Garden, I am My Mom’s Legacy, And I Know TODAY and those DAYS AHEAD she feels the love, Reflected from ME.

I love you so much Moma, Your Loving Daughter - Christa

Until We Meet Again

Those special memories of you Will always bring a smile. If only we could have you back For just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again, Just like we used to do. You always meant so very much. And always will too. The fact that you are no longer here. Will always cause us pain, But you are forever in our heart. Until we meet again.

We Love you ”Twan”- Daddy & Momma

For Our Dear Sister

“Twan” The day you left and gained your wings

Our hearts just broke in two

We wish you could have stayed with us

But Heaven needed you more

You left us with the memories

And we love you dearly still

No matter how much time goes by

You know we always will

You were a very special person

With kindness in your heart

And the love we had together

Grows stronger now we are apart

We cannot bring you back

Although we are wishing it everyday

But a piece of us went with you

The day you went away

We Love You “Twan”, Your Sisters Tonya, LaTrina, Lynnise, Marchelle, Marquita

In Loving Memory of Our Sister “Twan”

“Twan” your life was a Blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. We wish we could hug you

And just see your beautiful smiling face.

But now we have precious memories

To stand in your place.

Gone but not forgotten, That’s what they say

Of course that is true…

But if only you could have stayed.

Love your Brothers, Johnnie, Jr. & Marlon
