THE EIDETIC IMAGE My eidetic image consists of three parts. One part is my site plan, another is my site section and the last is a photo of my proun. With these things put together, substituted by my joiner, you are able to see my full path of travel and what I saw during that path. Because my project was about your experience while at cranbrook, it is necessary to show a path substituted by images.

CONSTRUCT A construct is a larger diagram consisting of different materials used to show the main idea of your project. For my construct, I used the idea of how your mind works while you are walking along a path. You mind does not stay on a straight path, it wanders and can get distracted by other things. While walking, you can remember something you saw at the last site, something off in the distance of even your phone going off. Also, after you visit somewhere, sometimes colors stick out in your mind. My construct took this idea and made it into a 3D diagram showing a path that is not necessarily the “point A to point B path you thought you took.

COURSE CONCLUSIONS
Throughout the course, I have learned many things. Although the tips and tricks may be helpful, they thing that is the most helpful is that I learned how to think and produce. If you get stuck on something, the worse thing to do is to not do anything. You must produce things to keep your mind thinking and creating new ideas. I learned many different way of producing and organizing thoughts. Ways such as simply producing things until an idea has sparked, doing things with a reason, without reason or with little reason. These different ways of producing can lead to many things, things such as lighting things on fire or very delicately constructing a diagram. This course taught me many programs, such Sketchup, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. These programs aided me in producing images such as my eidetic image and some of my diagrams. These programs will help me in the profession when I am designing things and putting presentations together. Without the knowledge of these programs, I would be a step behind the rest of my classmates.

Eideticism
These programs and ways of producing has led to two different types of images; high resolution images and low resolution images. High res images are those that are packed with information which may have more than one idea injected into them. Low res images are those that have a single, simple idea in them. In future studios, I will be challenged with daunting tasks, but the tools I learned in this course will help lessen the pain of those tasks. I will be able to produce very obscure ideas and images with careful though behind them.
