JET DIVISION KIWIN’S |
Hey hey hey kiwi besties!! Can YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! Last month of term is coming *gasp*
I have one word for you all this month and it’s THANK YOU!!! Just thank you for all the support and love you all have given me and your board members!! Just attending events really helps out our organization a lot so I really appreciate the efforts. I would like to challenge you all to thank one person (or more!) who impacted you positively this term!!
My greatest accomplishment this term isn’t just defined by the thousands raised for charities but rather by how close our ohana got and grew this term. A home is hard to define but you’ll know when you are there! I hope you all found your home in KIWIN’S!! I can’t wait to see what the upcoming term holds for all of you. Congrats to Angelina as she will be taking over this division as your 2023-24 swaggy ltg!! I hope to see you all together create some manatee mayhem. Sending so much love ♡
Yours in spirit and service,
Jessica Nguyen Jet Division Lieutenant Governor 2022-2023Heyyy Manatees! I can’t believe that the term is almost over, and I don’t want it to be T-T
I’m so extremely excited for DCON, but that means an end of an era. An era of friendship, service, and ohana that I will forever cherish and be grateful for.
I’m so glad that I joined KIWIN’S to be able to give back to my community, learn incredibly important leadership skills, and showcase my art. Thank you all manatees for making this term so wonderful, I hope that you all continue to be amazing humans- remember to be kind and inclusive whenever you can :)

What’s up, Kiwis! Hope you’ve had a great month so far! For the month of February, HB Community we held our very first Instagram live general meeting and concluded most of our ongoing January service projects. :DD We’ve got some more fun events and activities lined up, including a virtual bake sale fundraiser— you can order some delicious banana bread from the link in our Instagram bio! ^v^ Those are the highlights of this month; thanks and hope see you around!
La Quinta
HEY JET!!! As DCON quickly creeps around the corner, LQ KIWIN’S is ending off this term with a bang! This month, we volunteered at surf city marathon and uplift charity’s pantry event. We also sold out during our cream cheese wonton fundraiser that we held after school on campus earlier this month. Aside from this, our club has been preparing for DCON by hosting an interest meeting and more! Finally, after days of nominations, interviews, and caucus, we’re proud to announce that we’ve elected our new ‘23-‘24 executive board and just recently opened up appointed board applications. In total, we garnered over 140 hours this month. Thank you all for such an amazing term!!
Los Amigos
The past months Los Amigos KIWIN’S has been able to accumulate over 100 hours and open our board applications for the 23-24 term. We will be hosting board interviews soon and hope to announce our new board by the middle of March. Adding on that we will be volunteering at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center for Easter Prep Day!
Marina
Hello! This is Amy from Marina KIWIN’S. For the past couple of months, Marina KIWIN’S has been very active in terms of our service and fundraising goals. In December, we were successful in raising $700 from two big fundraisers (Rags2Runway and a Winter Bake Sale). In addition, we also hosted our Internshups from January to February to allow our general members a taste to feel what it's like being part of our board, and amidst that, we also released our official board application! As of now, we are working on finalizing our next board and are looking forward to what the future has to offer!
OCSA
Hello everyone!! On February 18th, we had our monthly beach clean up. We held 2023-2024 board interviews during this past month and selected our final board! We have started to introduce them to their positions and prep for the future. During February, we also held a lunch event consisting of decorating cards to celebrate the senior citizens in our community. On February 22, members volunteered at MIX Academy a non profit to serve low income families in Santa Ana to play with the kids, serve food, and clean up. Due to scheduling issues with meetings, we haven’t been able to introduce the new board, and so we plan to do that next month!
Segerstrom
Hi KIWIS!! For the month of February, Segerstrom KIWIN'S has helped out at Pacific Symphony Lantern Festival. Additionally, Segerstrom KIWIN'S has been going through the process of electing the future board for the next term. The results of the board have been released on the Instagram! For future events, we will be helping out the Spirit Run 2023 on March 12th. Hope to see success from the future of Segerstrom KIWIN'S!!
