WHAT IS CNH KIWIN’S? CNH KIWIN’S is a district of Key Club International located in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. We are a high school student led organization that aims to provide service projects to our home, school, and community. Our purpose is to enforce that four KCI core values: character building, leadership, caring, and inclusiveness. Our Major Emphasis is Life2Learn and Minor Emphasis is the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP). Our preffered charities are Children’s Miracle Network and March of Dimes. For this term our Governor’s Project is dedicated to UNICEF. CNH KIWIN’S is the 32nd district of Key Club international and consists of nine divisions: Crystal, Diamond, Emerald, Goldstone, Jade, Jet, Ruby, Sapphire, and Turquoise.
WHAT IS JET DIVISION? Jet Division is the home for the manatees! Jet is one of the nine division in CNH KIWIN’S. Our division consists of 8 schools who contribute under one goal of bettering our home, school, and community. The schools in Jet include Edison, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, La Quinta, Los Amigos, Marina, OCSA, and Segerstrom. We as members unite under our school clubs, which all come together under what we call Jet Division! Go manatees!

What is a Jet KIWIN’S member’s favorite piece of clothing? A Mana-TEE! Hey everyone. My name is Trina Dang, and I’ll be serving as your Jet Division KIWIN’S Lieutenant Governor for the 20212022 term! Some background information is that I’m an incoming senior at La Quinta High School. I also love to dance, ice skate, and play instruments as a hobby! I am so excited for this term since we are finally resuming our in person events after this pandemic. It is time for me to to do my part in planning and creating new memories and bonds with everyone to ensure a wonderful term. I am beyond grateful and thrilled that we are able to get an opportunity to come together and meet in person! We can all work together to create a lasting legacy and memorable bonds. I promise that our term will be the best one yet and I will not be able to do it without any of your help and support! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns - or even if you just want to chat! I care about all of your well-beings so please stay safe. I’m Cynthia Bui, the current District Treasurer, and some fun facts about me is that I don’t know how to ride a bike, swim, nor have good money management skills when it comes to online shopping (I promise I’m responsible with KIWIN’S money!!!) I love helping people out so feel free to reach out to me if you ever have any finance questions or questions about KIWIN’S in general!

Hello jet division! My name is Trina Dang and I am the LTG of the Jet division. I am an upcoming senior at La Quinta High School and I have been in KIWIN’S since freshman year! Moving forward, I am so so so excited for this term because we are finally moving towards in person events! I hope you all are excited as well because of all the events the DLT and I will be carrying out. MEET DIVISIONAL BOARD JESSICA NGUYEN - EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT h-hi cuties !! im jessica and im SO excited to be serving as your divisional executive assistant this year <33 im currently an upcoming senior at fountain valley :’)) and ive been in KIWIN’S since my freshman year where ive been able to meet so many amazing people and make so many great memories so lets make this one a good one :33 anyways, abt me... i luv sleeping, online shopping, and am super a-awkward but dont be afraid to say hi or pm me :00 i cant wait to see u guys again in person at divisional events and i hope u guys are as excited as me :00 here’s to an amazing term !
GRACE PHAN - FINANCIAL ASSISTANT
Hi! My name is Grace and I’m grateful to serve this 2021-2022 term as your Jet Division Financial Advisor! When I’m bored, my favorite thing to do is to sleep, and when I’m hungry I like to eat raw ramen noodles and ice cream (separately). My favorite place to be is inside my house, where I can get both an adequate amount of sleep and an endless supply of raw ramen noodles and different flavors and variations of ice cream. Even though I love the comfortability of my home, I can’t wait to leave it so I can finally attend an in-person event to meet my fellow Ohana members!

Hi Jet cuties! My name is Nisheille Esposo(any pronouns), and I am beyond excited to be serving as one of your Jet Media Correspondents for this term! To those of you who don’t know me, I am an upcoming senior at FV, where I serve as their club Treasurer. I really like coffee, cats, photography, and taking naps. I’m an incoming junior at Marina, and some fun facts abt me are I enjoy watching Disney movies, baking, and crocheting (find me at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s bc I’m there 24/7) I’m thrilled to see what change we can create in the community and what our division will accomplish this term, and I can’t wait to see y’all’s beautiful faces in the future!

hi everyone, my name is naila vo and i’m an incoming senior!! i’m a really big foodie and i’m always down to get boba. i’m also a huge kpop fan and the groups i mainly follow are bts, txt, enhypen, and seventeen. this is my second year as our club’s president and i can’t wait to use what i’ve learned this past term to improve in the new term. i can’t wait to meet new people and make new friends throughout this term. thank you!! :)

PRESIDENTS CORNER EDISON
hello everyone! its alis from edison kiwin’s here to give you an update of our month! so officially we are holding our first in-person event on July 7th, being a Dog Chew-Toy Making Social! in addition, we have another maxed out submission to the cranes for cancer event, and are currently planning many more socials to grind out this event!
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
Since our last DCM, we held two virtual events! This included our Dream Lab event from May 31st to June 7th which garnered 146.5 hours, and our Save the Trees Event from June 7th to June 21st which garnered 258 hours. We also helped out at Summerfest, where members aided at the Community Stage and/or the Hyundai Hope on Wheels stand. We collected donations for our Children’s Home Donation Drive on the 28th, which included over 70 items for Colette’s Children Home, and we held our FIRST FUNDRAISER OF THE TERM on the 17th at 85 Degrees. For upcoming events, we have our first official in person event on SUNDAY called From Dinosaurs to People at the Heritage Museum of Orange County, our club banquet is on July 1st, and in total we’re rounding this month off with 579 service hours! Thank you!
GARDEN GROVE
we are currently planning on doing a summer recruitment for anyone who wants to join early and we will do a Save the Trees event this month as well.
LA QUINTA
Hey KIWINNER’S! I hope you all have been having a great summer so far! For the week of June, La Quinta KIWIN’S was invited to volunteer at the Mile Square Park Summerfest and we had our board members run the Hope on Wheels booth and community stage. We also have been working diligently on the Cranes for Cancer divisional event! Also, be sure to check out our Dingtea fundraiser we are having currently! The proceeds will be going to PTP or the Pediatric Trauma Program. Thanks for reading :33

LOS AMIGOS
This month the Vice President and president have met together to plan for two new events upcoming in the month of July. We will be having board calls to update them what will be happening for our club rush and we will be planning for a board social as well!
MARINA
Throughout the past month, Marina KIWIN’S has served 29 hours and raised $110.75 for charity! We first finished up our AP Encouragement Note event where we collected a total of 49 notes and posted them on our insta for our members for a lil hope and encouragement during the stressful season :,) We also held our first fundraiser of the term, where we sold boba to our members through the Manateemates delivery system ;) and all profits went to PTP! At the beginning of July, Marina KIWIN’S held our annual end-of-the-year banquet where we recognized members and seniors for their hard work and dedication from the past term. We are also currently planning a movie fundraiser with several other schools in Jet, and putting together our first in-person service event, so be on the lookout for that :)
OCSA
Since last month, OCSA had their final club meeting and board meeting of the school year! We extended our Letters for Elders service event to last through the summer and participated in district events like Jet Penpals! Additionally, we collaborated with OCSA Key Club to do a takeover of Santa Ana Kiwanis
SEGERSTROM
within the last month, segerstrom kiwin’s has held a Summer Care Kits for Pathways of Hope event where members were asked to make summer care kits from the comforts of their own home for individuals and families in need. we also held a krispy kreme fundraiser at our school where we succeeded in selling 25 dozen donuts. to end off the month, we had our very first Kiwanis Takeover and presented to our sponsoring Kiwanis club.
