What made you go? I wanted to make new friends and thought it was an easy way to get out of the city life. What was the process of applying? I was able to attend the camp for free thanks to KIWANIS due to a scholarship i applied for How was your experience? The camp was so much fun and I was able to get closer to many people from different divisions of Key Club and people within our district.

11

What did you learn? I learned alot of leadership skills within the camp. It focused on the corr of servant leadership, keyclub's core values, and teamwork.

What was your most memorable moment? I definitely think my most memorable moment is getting close to the people within my district. I was the only one that attended from jet and I got closer to people from turquoise and emerald division. 14 Tell us about a spooky experience one halloween someone gave me expired candy and i bit into a centimeTeR of mold - CHRISTINE DO (11), MHS So I was walking out of my car to get into the house so I could take a fat 4 hour nap on a Tuesday afternoon and I realized I left my house keys inside the house. Was locked out for a good 4 hours. -TEO NGUYEN (11), EHS pretty spooky! i went to a haunted house and trick or treating for uniceff which was super fun! -VIVI HOANG (11), LAHS When I was little, maybe around 2 or 3 years old, I was playing with my aunt in a bedroom that had a large wardrobe and a heavy ceiling fan. I remember she teased me about something and I ran across the room to the wardrobe for a place to hide in. Just as I passed under the ceiling fan, it fell and crashed on the floor. It was a long time ago but being around that wardrobe still scares me a little bit. -ALEX TRUONG (12), SFHS

One day, I went downstairs and my dog was missing—gone, disappeared into thin air. Turns out she was stuck behind the curtains. Needless to say I was very spooked for a good 15 minutes. - IRIS HONG (11), LAHS

I failed my physics quiz. - KATRINA HUYNH (12), FVHS One ominous morning Hannah walked into the kitchen eager to eat the leftover cookie she had saved the night after a bake sale, but to her surprise the cookie was no where to be found! When she asked her parents about it they didn’t have the slightest idea about the cookie’s whereabouts! Did Hannah forget she had already eaten the cookie, were her parents lying, or...had a ghost chomped down on her precious treat in the middle of the night? :0 -HANNAH NGUYEN (11), EHS

i started talking to a guy named kevin nguyen who was a cancer sign. you know how the rest goes from here. -KEVYNH TRUONG (12), MHS
