bumc.net COMMUNION OFFERING: RISE AGAINST HUNGER This month's Communion offering is for Rise Against Hunger, which provides nutritious meals for our neighbors experiencing hunger around the world. Help us collect $32,000 this weekend to pack and donate 100,000 meals on April 13.

You can give during Communion in the offering plates, online at bumc.net/rise or text BUMCCOM and a dollar amount to 28950 (ex. BUMCCOM 50). If this is your first time giving through text, you will receive a text back with information on how to register.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS bumc.net/Lent April 14-21, times vary (see website for details) The Stations of the Cross is a walking prayer devotional focused on the last hours of Christ's life. The 12 stations allow us to better understand Jesus' journey to the cross and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete all 12 stations. The last rotation will begin 45 minutes before closing time each day.

bumc.net/Lent ES E S L IV CHANG April 19, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Family Life Center The Stations of the Cross for Families is a family-centered experience that explains the events of Holy Week in a way that's appropriate for children of all ages. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete all 12 stations. The last rotation will begin at 5:30 p.m.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE April 14, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.

There will be one Red Cross Bloodmobile in the parking lot next week for you to donate blood.

The Red Cross will be on campus one hour longer than usual due to having only one truck. Make your appointment at redcrossblood.org.

DIVORCE RECOVERY Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.

This group focuses the roller coaster feelings of separation and divorce.

Stress, guilt, self-esteem, and more will be addressed in this healing group. Cost is $30. Sign up at bumc. net/Register.

BUMC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Apply by Monday, April 15 Each year, the BUMC Foundation awards at least 5 $2,000 renewable scholarships to students who have been active in the life of our church.

One will be awarded to a college senior who plans on graduate work, and at least 4 of the scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors.
