WELCOME REV. CASEY LANGLEY ORR Casey joins our staff as Pastor of Family Ministries and comes to us from First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth (Texas). She served there as youth minister and associate pastor for 7 years. She experienced her call to ministry as a teenager at Brentwood UMC. She is a graduate of Lambuth University and Princeton Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Michael, have 2 children, James and Abby. We are excited to have the Orr family with us at BUMC!

FOR HIS GLORY DANCE MINISTRY

Sunday, August 26, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., The Pit 1st through 5th grade boys and girls are invited to join For His Glory, our children's liturgical dance ministry. This is for the experienced dancer and for those who'd like to learn the art of liturgical dance. For His Glory rehearsals begin this weekend. MINDFULNESS CONVERSATION

3RD GRADE BIBLE PRESENTATION & LUNCH (MILESTONE #4)

LOVE IN DEED DAY OF SERVICE

Saturday, October 6, 9-11 a.m. -or- 1-3 p.m. Serve as an individual, family, or small group as we pack meal kits through Rise Against Hunger, collect clothes for GraceWorks, and collect books for The Word Wagon. BREATHING SPACE: WOMEN’S RETREAT
