Lent, Holy Week and Easter at BUMC 4th Grade Lent Event Sunday, April 13 at 9:45 am (Chapel) Special worship experience for 4th graders to learn more about the Lenten season. Drop off and pick up in the classrooms. Registration not required. “Requiem” by John Rutter Sunday, April 13, 5:00 pm (Chapel) Presented by the BUMC Chancel Choir and Orchestra at Brentwood. Begin Holy Week by hearing the hauntingly beautiful “Requiem” by English composer, John Rutter. The Stations of the Cross Opens Sunday, April 13 at 5:00 pm. Open weekdays 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. Closes Sunday, April 20 at 5:00 pm. Located in Haney Hall . Registration not required. No childcare. Stations of the Cross for children (K - 6th grade) Wednesday, April 16, 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Chapel) Due to the nature of the content, parents are encouraged to accompany their Kindergarten and 1st grade children. Nursery is available for infants - Pre-K. Maundy Thursday Worship & Communion Thursday, April 17 — 7:00 pm (Sanctuary) Childcare for 3 & Under.
Good Friday Tenebrae Service Friday, April 18 — 7:00 pm (Sanctuary) Childcare for 3 & Under. Easter Worship (Brentwood Campus) Saturday, April 19: 6:00 pm (Sanctuary) Childcare for 3 & Under. Sunday, April 20: 6:08 am (Sunrise in Prayer Garden, followed by light breakfast in Singles Area); 8:00 am (Traditional); 9:30 am (Awakening in Sanctuary and Chapel); 11:00 am (Traditional) Childcare at all services for 3 and under. Shuttle service available from the Synergy Building from 7:00 am until 12:30 pm.
