Sunday, August 19 Moving through The Challenges of Adolescence How to Help Our Teenagers have a Faith that Sticks Recent research suggests that as many as 50% of teenagers walk away from their faith once they graduate from high school. This is not an acceptable statistic! The good news is that the way we do ministry as a church can increase the number of students who stick with their faith when they head to college. Everything we do as a student ministry is designed to help our students develop a faith that sticks with them beyond their time here. See the top of page 2 for more details on ways we are working to help our students grow as disciples of Christ.

You won’t want to miss this because it might be 20 more years before he gets up the courage again. It will be a great afternoon of worship music featuring all of your favorites that you have heard from James over the years. A love offering will be taken to benefit Restore Haiti. A BUMC Haiti Mission team is making its 3rd trip in October 2012.
