A Festival of Carols Sunday, December 15, 7 pm, Sanctuary Members of the BUMC Chancel Choir, The Orchestra at Brentwood, and Alleluia Choir (5th & 6th Grades) will present a Festival Sunday, December 15 of Carols.

A special service of prayer and healing for those experiencing loss, divorce, strife, pain and grief during this season.

The Manger of Graceworks of Williamson County The Manger is a store-like setting where qualified Williamson Co. families “shop” for Christmas presents.

We need you to make shopping possible by: • donating gift items (new or gently used & unwrapped) $15 to $35 range. Place them in the POD in the BUMC parking lot. Special need for preteen/teen items.

We are Excited to Welcome in Worship Today David Ssebulime as our New Director of Missions and Outreach! David is originally from Uganda and for the past three years has served at Christ UMC in Franklin while earning his Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School. David and his wife Marlene have a daughter named Zoe, and are excited to join the BUMC community.

THIS WEEK: Christmas Baskets Benefitting GraceWorks and Harvest Hands One THOUSAND families have requested Christmas baskets this year. BUMC will provide boxes to 125 families through Graceworks and Harvest Hands. Over 100 volunteers needed THIS WEEKEND to help pack boxes (Friday at 7pm in Youth Area) and deliver boxes to families (Saturday at 8am from Youth Area.) For more details call 324-8211.

The Manger, serving Williamson Co. Families thru GraceWorks (December 11-19) BUMC ‘s night of service at The Manger is Thursday, December 19, with shifts 5-8 pm and 7-10 pm -- but if you can’t be there that night, members are encouraged to volunteer at The Manger anytime! Sixty-First Avenue UMC’s Toy Store (December 88-21) Gifts for teenagers are especially needed at this year’s Toy Store – cologne, aftershave, jewelry, portable speakers, and gift cards to anywhere teenagers love to go! Basketball & Cheerleading Coaches Needed This is a twice a week commitment with practices being on either Monday or Tuesday nights beginning January 13th and games each Saturday morning beginning January 25th through March 1st.
