The Manger of Graceworks - Thursday, December 13 is BUMC Night Thursday, December 13 - 5:30 - 8:00 pm (811 Oak Meadow Ln, Franklin) 100+ volunteers needed, register now at www.bumc.net/register. The Manger is a store-like setting where qualified Williamson County families shop for Christmas presents. This Thursday BUMC will host the Manger, which means we need volunteers to help shoppers, to wrap gifts, and to help clean up when it’s over!

A Festival of Carols Sunday, December 16 7:00 pm | Sanctuary Members of the BUMC Chancel Choir and The Orchestra at Brentwood will present a Festival of Carols. The concert, conducted by Bill Caldwell, director of Chancel Choir, will feature some of the most beloved of the Christmas carols. The congregation will have the opportunity to sing several times during the hour-long festival of music. It is free and open to the public. Childcare for 3 and under.

To become a “Santa” call Maya at 324-8211 or Mike at 324-7222. Hurricane Sandy Communion Offering Many thanks for responding to an urgent need. Last month’s communion offering was changed to benefit the UMCOR Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. Thanks to your generosity $29,000 was raised including $1,400 that has been donated to the Tennessee Federation of Fire Chaplains that will be used to deploy the OldsMobile in the NY area from December 9 - 14 along with nine chaplains to minister to suffering families. Toddler & Teen Gifts Needed for 61st Avenue Last Minute Toy Store Unwrapped gifts for children (infant - age 4) and teenagers are especially needed for the toy store which serves over 1,400 low-income Davidson Co. families. The toy store operates at 61st Ave. UMC from Wednesday, December, 19 - Saturday, December, 22. Label the gifts “61st Avenue” and bring to the lobby or Narthex by December 16 _____.
