Help Provide Easter Baskets for Children without Permanent Families Sundays through February 28: Collections Saturday, March 5: Packing of baskets Did you know that there are over 500 children in our local area without permanent families? We are partnering with Youth Villages, CASA of Davidson/Williamson Counties, Monroe Harding & Miriam’s Promise to provide over 400 Easter Baskets for these children. Register at bumc.net/register by Monday each week. Take the rush and worry out of dinner before joining the Lenten study! LENTEN STUDY “NEAR THE CROSS” 6:15-7:15 Study [3 weeks]; Led by Rev. Lane Davis (Chapel) Lent is a time that calls us to draw near to the cross of Jesus so that we might encounter transformation in our hearts and lives. This three-week study, based on Bishop Kenneth Carter’s study “Near the Cross,” is a reflection on the necessity of prayer during Lent. No registration - the class is open to all.

Summer Volunteers We need you for our team of dedicated volunteers this summer at Harvest Hands! Contact Alissa at alissa@harvesthandscdc.com. We are currently seeking: Morning (M-Th; 8:45 – 10:45 am) to assist students in reading and math games. Commit to one morning a week or a full week in the summer. Afternoon (12:20-2:20 pm) “Track Experts” to assist and the planning and implementation of special interest tracks like Sports, Arts, or Science and Technology. Field Trip Fridays Field Trip Heroes commit to contributing monetary donations towards our field trips, and also join as a chaperone as they desire.
