How Will You Step UP! this Year? Step Up! 2012 is our year-long emphasis of five core practices that lead to a stronger faith and a more vibrant church. These practices include: worship, connect, invite, serve and give. For specific things you can do now to begin to Step Up, check our new website, www.bumc.net and click on Step Up. Read below for details about our church-wide Bible reading plan that begins Monday, January 16. Step Up to Worship Worship God daily (which includes prayer and scripture reading) and weekly You can begin to Step Up immediately by joining our church-wide Bible reading plan called “Project 3:45” which allows you to read the New Testament through in a year. Look in your bulletin today for a bookmark with quarterly readings and a suggested format for personal worship time. The reading plan is also available on our homepage at www.bumc.net. Click on the button “Bible Reading Plan” for instructions for following the plan on your computer or smartphone.
