New Campus Planned for Lenox Village/Nolensville We are excited to announce that we are planting a new campus, The Village, in the Lenox Village/ Nolensville area. Travis Garner, our Pastor of Discipleship and Missions, will be the Lead Pastor of The Village. We are currently forming a launch team of people who feel called to join in this work. Jump Jive Dinner Dance to Benefit the Center for Youth Ministry Training (CYMT) Join CYMT on Saturday, February 14 at the FiftyForward Martin Center in Brentwood for the First Annual Jump Jive Dinner Dance presented by T.W. Frierson Construction. Food will be provided by the Daily Dish and musical entertainment from Nashville’s greatest swing band, the Gnarley Parkers. Pick Up Your Shopping Bag Today! January Focus: [Re]Stock the Pantry During the month of January we will be collecting non-perishable food items and household items to help restock the pantry at GraceWorks. These items will allow Greceworks to provide needed items to individuals and families in need in Williamson County. As a church our goal is 15,000 pounds. Shopping bags are available in the Narthex for you to take and fill with non-perishable food and household items. Each bag will have a list of current critical needs attached. On January 31/February 1, simply leave your filled bags next to your parked vehicle. We will have volunteers in the parking areas picking up the bags and loading them onto the GraceWorks truck.

Harvest Hands (www.harvesthandscdc.com) Elementary and Middle School After-school Program Volunteers Needed. Volunteers needed for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:45-6:00 pm and Wednesday and Friday from 3:45-5:30 pm. We ask that volunteers make a once a week commitment and are looking for individuals who care deeply for kids, want to help students learn more about Jesus and succeed in school. Ways to Serve 1st Grade Sunday School Teacher Urgently Needed! Help shepherd some of our youngest disciples on Sunday mornings. A teacher is needed for one of our current 1st grade classes beginning now until May 17, from 9:15 10:4-5 am. Join a wonderful team of volunteers for the class and teach approximately 2 Sundays a month. You will be individually trained and all materials and supplies are provided on Sunday mornings. GraceNotes Writers Share Christ’s love and hope through a ministry of writing encouraging notes! Twice each month, dedicated volunteers pray for, and write notes to, people going through difficult times, such as illness, grief, and job loss. CARING MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK Parish Nurse Ministry Treating body, mind, and spirit. The Parish Nurse Ministry (previously Patient Advocate Ministry) provides holistic health related services to individuals, family members, and neighbors. Services include: counseling; patient advocacy; coordination of health related education; Connecting people with available community resources and nursing care facilities. Fishes and Loaves Participants provide their time and resources to prepare and deliver meals to members on a short-term basis due to illness or other short-term difficulties. Home Health Assistance Scottish Rite provides short-term loans of medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers to people who need it after an accident, surgery, or until insurance can provide what is needed. Handyman Ministries: Serving God by Serving Others. Volunteers help those in the community who are unable to do necessary small repairs, installations and maintenance to their homes or who find it challenging to pay for these services. Some examples of our services: change light bulbs, install and repair an electrical switch/plug, repair a leaky faucet, change a door lock, fix a toilet, install a ceiling fan, etc. The service is free.
