COMMUNION OFFERING

COMMUNION OFFERING: BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY This month's communion offering is for the Benevolence Ministry, which provides emergency, short-term financial assistance for those both within our congregation and in our community. This ministry also acts as a bridge to connect recipients with long-term support. You can give during communion in the offering plates or text BUMCCOM and a dollar amount to 28950 (ex. BUMCCOM 50). If this is your first time giving through text, you will receive a text back with information on how to register.

Wednesdays beginning January 10, 6:30-8 p.m. Rebuild life on a solid foundation. This 6-week class is for anyone who is going through or has gone through divorce. Meet with others to explore roller coaster feelings, learn to forgive, discuss dating after divorce, learn how to deal with an ex – including when children are involved – and learn available community resources. LIVE WELL: DEPRESSION SUPPORT GROUP

Wednesdays beginning January 10 Have you ever felt uneasy about talking about depression in church? Have you ever wondered how depression is different from being sad? This 6-week course, led by Rev. Shebbie Shields, was developed by Dr. Stephen Ilardi and has been adapted by The United Methodist Church. If you are experiencing or have experienced Depression, come to a safe place to discuss, explore, and gain insight into ways to develop emotional wellness through depression.
