If you are a member of a Sunday School class or attend a particular worship service, take a look at the list on page 2 and try to attend at the suggested time (in order to balance group sizes). If you don’t attend a particular class or worship service, or if the designated time isn’t convenient, you may attend any time. Sermon Series Weekends thru August 3/4 The book of Psalms is the Hebrew hymnbook. It contains the faith, joy, sorrow, hope and heartache of God’s people. Beginning today with Psalm 1, Davis will help us explore these timeless songs of the heart. Invite a friend to join you! Empowered! Plugging leaders, teachers, and mentors into the Source Sunday, August 4, 5 - 8 pm Registration and dinner open at 4:30 Dinner and opening session in Haney Hall, closing worship in the Sanctuary with Dr. Davis Chappell.

Empowered! is designed to: • equip volunteer leaders with the tools to serve in ministries with children, students, and adults • show volunteers how to serve as spiritual leaders in those ministries If you are a teacher or leader in any area involving children, students, or adults, Empowered! is for you! Sign Up Now for Harvest Hands 1st Annual emPower Run 5k Run/Walk Saturday, October 12 The first 100 registrants will receive a free pair of Swiftwick running compression socks. The race will take place in the Harvest Hands neighborhood. Overall male and female winner will receive a 1-year supply of Humphreys Street Coffee and WOW! Soap. Disciple Bible Studies for 2013-2014 Register now online or by calling Paula Cryan at 373-3663! Disciple Bible Study is a program of intensive, disciplined Bible study [30-45 min. each day] that meets for 2 hours over 32-34 weeks. Disciple I is the prerequisite for all other Disciple Bible Studies. Jesus in the Gospels: a comparative study of all for gospel narratives. Sundays beginning September 8, 5:30-7:30pm led by Jim Costner [childcare available]. Disciple II: Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. Emphasizes the rhythm of coming to God and going for God.
