New Sermon Series Begins August 10/11 Luke: A Gospel for Everyone For 10 weeks this fall, senior pastor Dr. Davis Chappell will lead us through a powerful, personal portrait of Jesus as seen in the orderly account by physician-author, Luke. Parenting with Love and Logic Workshop Sundays, September 8 – October 6, 5 – 7 pm Learn techniques to create a respectful, healthy relationship with your children and to prepare them for the real world. Volunteer Opportunities Blood Drive Sunday August 11, 7:30 am - 12:30 pm TWO buses will be available with a goal of 50 units of blood. ‘Double Red Cell Donations’ are accepted on the bus. Disciple Bible Study

Infants - 6th Grade

Register now online or by calling Paula Cryan at 373-3663! Disciple Bible Study is a program of intensive, disciplined Bible study [30-45 min. daily] that meets for 2 hours over 32-34 weeks. Disciple I is the prerequisite for all other Disciple Bible Studies. Jesus in the Gospels: a comparative study of all for gospel narratives. Sundays beginning September 8, 5:30-7:30 pm led by Jim Costner [childcare available]. Disciple II: Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. Autumn Haiti Trip - $150 Deposit Due by the end of July Trip is October 10 - 15, 2013 (Williamson County Fall Break) Our team is now forming to work with Restore Haiti and Restoration Church of Jacmel. The trip involves medical, music and some construction. Estimated cost is $1,400. Flight deposit of $150 due by the end of July and the balance due by the first of September. Mexico Mission Trip September 13 – 22 Join BUMC and Belmont UMC to work, worship and learn about GYTTE , www.gytte.org, a vital ministry of the Global Board of the UMC.
