Get To Know our New Senior Pastor, Martin Thielen • Martin’s Box You will notice that Martin is preaching on the orchestra director’s stand. This is to help people better see him during the sermon. A professional cabinet maker will soon build a permanent platform for the sermons, so please be patient with the ugly box until it’s completed! • Listening Sessions are planned for Wednesday nights, August through October. Sessions are designed so Martin can learn more about who we are as a community and to hear our hope and dreams for our church. They are organized around age and stage of life, although you may attend any session. A schedule is available at www.bumc.net. For more information contact Judith Bone at 324-7258. • e-Note If you are not receiving the periodic email “e-note from Pastor Martin”, write your email on the attendance pad in the space provided. Please write “e-Note” beside it. • Newcomers Coffee & Conversation Newcomers and guests to Brentwood United Methodist Church are invited for “Coffee and Conversation” with Martin Thielen on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 7 pm in Haney Hall.
