Welcome, Tennessee Annual Conference It’s our privilege to host the 1,200 attendees of the Tennessee Annual Conference today through Wednesday, June 11. We pray for each of the delegates as they worship, learn, and conduct the important business of our connection. Red Cross Blood Drive Two Red Cross bloodmobiles are here today from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Donor registration is in the main lobby. Requirements to donate: you must be at least 17-years-old; weigh at least 110 lbs.; be in good health; have not been asked by the Red Cross not to donate; and you must have a photo ID or your Red Cross donor card. Sanctuary Lighting Update Our sanctuary lighting is undergoing a major upgrade which is to be completed in late July/early August. The Sanctuary was built in 1990 and its wiring and technology require updating in order to continue to serve us well, and to provide the infrastructure for transitioning to LED lights if, and when, that is appropriate. These renovations will also correct the blinking lights which you may have noticed from time to time. Meet Our New Director of Nursery/Childcare, Adrianne Ohrt Adrianne comes to us from a sister church in the Franklin area where she served as Co-Director of the Nursery and Assistant Director of the weekly preschool program. She and her husband, Jon, have two children -Sydney, who is involved with BUMC Jubilation Choir, and Brooke, who is a 4th grader. We are excited about the leadership and gifts Adrianne will bring to our church.
