Missions & Outreach For more info on all missions call David Ssebulime at 615-324-7222. March Focus: Housing Initiative BUMC has a rich history in their participation in build initiatives with Habitat for Humanity, 61st Ave. UMC, Harvest Hands, and many more. We have participated in building homes, hospitals in Honduras, playgrounds, renovated churches, and we hope to do more. We believe these individual projects have prepared us to launch a year-round housing initiative through which we will continue to grow as disciples. • During March and April we will learn about God’s call to serve in our community and across the world while building three homes. • In the spring we will build with Habitat for Humanity in Fairview, in the fall we will build with Harvest Hands, and for every Habitat Home built in the United States, one is built in a developing country. • Our funding goal for all three homes is $120,000. We appreciate your prayful consideration in how you will touch the lives of the families impacted by these homes. Our first build with Habitat will begin on April 11 and continue through June 13.
