LikeJesus? Lessons on Living from the Sermon on the Mount Messages by Bishop Bill McAlilly, Rev. Kaye Harvey, and Rev. Travis Garner
Saturdays: 600 pm Sundays: 830 am, 950 am, & 1100 am
April 13/14 – June 29/30 TOPICS: • Like Jesus
• Spiritual Practices
• Ask, Seek, Knock
• The Beatitudes
• Serving Two Masters
• Narrow is the Gate
• Salt and Light
• Judging Others
• False Prophets
• Loving Your Enemies
• Do Not Worry
• Like Jesus Revisited
• When you “like” someone’s post on Facebook, it means you are cheering them on but you’re not necessarily joining in whatever they are doing. • When we say we want to live Like Jesus, we’re saying we want to be more than a fan of a movement; instead, we want to join in a movement. • There’s no better guide in the Gospels of what it means to live Like Jesus than the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew. • In this 12-week series, we will dive deeply into Jesus’ most comprehensive teaching in the New Testament as we figure out together what it really means to live Like Jesus.
