Dear Church Family, I hope to see you this weekend as we continue our Lenten journey to some of the sacred places in the life of Jesus. This weekend we will journey to the Temple of Jerusalem and explore the story of the woman caught in adultery in John 8:111. The title of the message will be "The End of the Stone Age." I hope to see you Sunday night for the "Share the Spirit" youth choir concert in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. This is an event you will not want to miss. It was good to receive Samantha Anderson; Sara Mills Donald; Henslee Emeline Nash; and Mitchell, Amy and Andrew Cameron as new members. Welcome to our church family. Over a year ago I wrote a brief article for The Tennessean called "The Answer to Bad Religion is Not No Religion but Good Religion." The theme of this article will eventually become my next book. For this week's e-note I thought I would share that article. The Answer to Bad Religion Is Not No Religion but Good Religion Way back in 1859, Charles Darwin startled the world by publishing his famous (many would say infamous) book On the Origin of Species, which laid out his theory of evolution. You may know that at the end of his life, Charles Darwin was an atheist. However, that was not always the case. Darwin was raised in the Anglican Church and even considered becoming a clergyman.
