STEP

2012

Step Up! 2012 is our year-long emphasis of five core practices that lead to a stronger faith and a more vibrant church. These pactices include: worship, connect, invite, serve and give.

Step Up to WorshiP Real Life Ahead: Fully Alive in Christ - Financial Giving Today in your bulletin you will find a financial commitment giving card and envelope. During worship you’ll have an opportunity to turn in your card, or you may mail it in any time before December 9 in the return envelope provided. You may also fill out a card on-line at www.bumc.net/giving

Step Up to giVe Generously to God’s Work Give to United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) which offers relief and help to those affected by the recent storm. Make your check payable to BUMC with “Hurricane Sandy Relief” in the memo line. Contact Mike Dennison, 324-7222, or Maya Broaden-Knighten, 324-8211 with questions. Bethlehem Center Senior Food Bag Collection Sunday, November 11, Narthex. Our goal: 100 food bags for the Bethlehem Center’s Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 15. To make things easy, go across the street to Kroger, grab one of the prepacked bags, and pay at the register. Then bring it back to the Red Truck in our parking lot. Serving Team members will be on hand so you won’t even have to get out of the car! Cost is around $15. If Kroger no longer has pre-packed bags, grab a list, fill a bag, bring it back to BUMC and we will deliver those to GraceWorks.
