HIM began in the summer of 2000 with a group of friends from the Sagavoll School of Music in Oslo. They have risen through the ranks to become one of the busiest and most renown groups in Norway, and have had opportunities to perform with several American popular artists, including Barry Manilow and Stevie Wonder. Thank you BUMC for your overwhelming response to the urgent appeal to fill flood buckets with supplies to aid those who’ve been devastated by Hurricane Sandy. 132 flood buckets have now been filled and picked up by the Conference Office for delivery. Save the Date!! The Annual Matthew 25 Alternative Gift Giving begins its 2012-2013 season the weekend of December 1/2. There will be purchasing stations throughout the church for the entire month of December. Instead of going to the mall to purchase a gift for a loved one that they do not need, consider honoring them with an “alternative gift” that will benefit hurting people in need here and around the world. 100% of your gift(s) goes to the ministry that you select. AIDS Angel Tree Each Weekend, November 25 - December 16, Breezeway Stop by and get an angel to provide a Christmas gift to children with HIV-AIDS or who have parents/caregivers that are affected by HIV-AIDS. Be a Santa to a Senior Bethlehem Center needs sponsors to provide a Christmas gift for a homebound senior who is on their Meals on Wheels program.
