WORSHIP ATTENDANCE

Pastoral Care and Counseling Are you suffering due to a death, broken relationship, illness or other deep loss? Are you struggling with feelings of guilt or shame? Do you need help forgiving someone who has harmed you? Sometimes the emotional strain or spiritual pain we experience in life is more than we can bear alone. It can trigger deep spiritual and theological questions that can cut to the core of our faith. Our pastors are available to provide spiritual care and guidance. All conversations are strictly confidential. To schedule an appointment, please contact Julie Donley (jdonley@ bumc.net; 615-324-7254) or Carla Barrios (cbarrios@bumc.net; 324-7252). Or, you may contact any of our pastors (www.bumc.net). Stephen Ministry Stephen Ministers are members of our church who are trained to provide confidential, Christian care to anyone who may be experiencing a crisis or challenge such as divorce, grief, job loss, or illness. A Stephen Minister does not solve your problems; rather he or she listens, cares, prays, and helps you find your path to healing and wholeness. If you are going through a difficult time, consider having a Stephen Minister. If you know someone who is facing difficulties, suggest that they consider a Stephen Minister. Want to know more? Call Sheryl at 373-3690 ext. 394 or Rev. Allison Fasig at 373-3663. Counseling Center If you or someone you love is struggling with emotional stress, behavioral difficulties or mental illness, the therapists at the BUMC Counseling Center can help. Our counselors are skilled at helping individuals of all ages with a wide range of therapeutic needs such as: anxiety, depression, addiction, conflict, attention disorders, attachment disorders, divorce, infidelity, parenting challenges, trauma after effects, physical or sexual abuse, grief or loss, stress, self-image problems.
