Week Two Prayer: FAITH Lord, draw us out of our comfortable nests that we have built for ourselves. Give us the strength and courage to relinquish our need for security in the things of this world. Equip us with the faith to give extravagantly so that we might fulfill the plans and the purposes that you have for our lives and your kingdom. Amen.
Prayer Vigil for “Taking the Next Step: Live Generously” Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 Everyone is invited to participate in the prayer vigil as we enter into the last 24 hours before making our commitment for Taking the Next Step. If you are unable to come to the church, you may still participate in the vigil. Sign up in the narthex November 1-2, and November 8-9 or at www.bumc.net/GenerosityPrayer. A prayer vigil guide will be available as you enter the chapel or online for you to use through your time of prayer. We want to have every hour filled with many prayers as we prepare ourselves to take the next step in our discipleship journey.
