Imagine . . . Commitment Weekend is November 9/10 What might God do when we fully entrust our lives and resources to him? Dr. Davis Chappell concludes his “Imagine” sermon series next weekend as he explores the story in the Gospel of Luke of the poor widow who gave her all. We will also have an opportunity to bring our commitment cards to worship and dedicate ourselves and our resources to God.

Wednesday Night Pastor’s Bible Study - Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in Sanctuary What does the Apostle Paul say in his letters that is crucial for us to incorporate into our own lives? Join Rev. Dr. Jeff Wilson in his 6-week study of the Letters of Paul through December 4 (excluding November 27).

BUMC Adoption Support Survey The BUMC Adoption Support, Foster and Orphan Care Committee has designed a survey and wants your feedback! It is our hope that through this survey we will better understand the needs of our church members related to adoption support, foster and orphan care. Boxes for Delivering Christmas Baskets Did you know that the Christmas Baskets our church members provide are actually BOXES of food delivered to needy families in Williamson County? We are looking for a contact to supply the boxes –approximately 200 are needed. Be a member of BUMC’s 15th Mission Trip to Mexico Escape winter and travel to South Central Mexico January 4–12, 2014. BUMC and Belmont UMC will send a joint team to serve with Give Ye Them to Eat (GYTTE) (www.gytte.org ). The cost of the trip is around $1600 (includes travel). Contact Nita Haywood at nitahaywood@aol.com. 2014 South Africa Sponsorship Update BUMC currently sponsors 131 children at Thembelihle Primary School in Howick, South Africa and an additional 22 children at Brentwood Society Church in Tumbleweed, South Africa. This year, our goal is to sponsor 175 children between these two schools. We are asking our existing sponsors to renew, as well seeking new sponsorships.
