Wednesday Night Pastor’s Bible Study Davis concludes his Wednesday night study of Luke this Wednesday, October 16, at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. October 23 - December 11 (excluding November 27), Dr. Jeff Wilson will lead a study of the Letters of Paul. New small groups are also forming. Come on Wednesday night for more information. Imagine . . . For three weekends beginning October 19/20, Dr. Davis Chappell will continue unpacking God’s word in three well-loved stories in the Gospel of Luke: the rich young ruler, the parable of the talents, and the widow’s mite. Join us as Dr. Chappell brings these stories to life in the context of our daily lives and shows us how God can do more than we can ask or imagine when we entrust our lives and resources to him. American Red Cross Blood Drive is Today Two Red Cross bloodmobiles are here today from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Donor registration is in the main lobby. Requirements to donate: you must be at least 17-years-old; weigh at least 110 lbs.; be in good health; have not been asked by the Red Cross not to donate; and you must have a photo ID or your Red Cross donor card.

Brentwood UMC Dayschool Fall Fest October 18

BUMC Dayschool Fall Festival Friday, October 18, 4:30 – 7:30 pm $10 per person for dinner and all the fun! Tickets available in the Day School office, church reception desk (exact cash or check only) or at the door. Activities include jumpers, face painting, train ride, pony rides, petting zoo, TWO balloon artists, ring toss, family photo ops, prizes, magic show & so much more! The Center for Youth Ministry Training (CYMT), our partner in ministry, has been awarded a generous grant of $240,000 over three years from Lilly Endowment Inc. to fund the Theology Together project, which will educate youth workers alongside the teenagers with whom they minister.
