COMMUNION OFFERING

COMMUNION OFFERING: BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY This month's communion offering is for the Benevolence Ministry. The Benevolence Ministry provides emergency, short-term financial assistance for those both within our congregation and in our community; it also acts as a bridge to connect recipients with long-term support. You can give during communion in the offering plates or text BUMCCOM and a dollar amount to 28950 (ex. BUMCCOM 50). If this is your first time giving through text, you will receive a text back with information on how to register.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Sunday, October 8, 2-4 p.m., BUMC Front Lawn Pets bless our lives daily; let's give them a day to be blessed! Join us for the service of blessing, 2:30 – 2:45 p.m., then stick around for family fun with photo booths, crafts, and pet-friendly and human-friendly treats.

Wednesdays beginning October 4, 6:30 – 8 p.m. Do you suffer from anxiety? Have you been told to "let go and let God"? Anxiety has biological causes and is not the result of an inability to "let go."
