LIVING like Jesus, bringing JOY to God

Luke: A Gospel for Everyone Dr. Davis Chappell continues his focus on the Gospel of Luke in worship through October 13. On Wednesday evenings, at 6:30 in the Sanctuary, through October 16, Davis will dive a little deeper with a Bible Study. Invite a friend to join you! Imagine . . . For three weekends beginning October 19/20, Dr. Davis Chappell will continue unpacking God’s word in three well-loved stories in the Gospel of Luke: the rich young ruler, the parable of the talents, and the widow’s mite. Join us as Dr. Chappell brings these stories to life in the context of our daily lives and shows us how God can do more than we can ask or imagine when we entrust our lives and resources to him. Go Home Team Tailgating Tailgating here, there and everywhere – On Sunday, October 6, you can tailgate with our Home Team Tailgate crew at BUMC or at LP Field! Stop by before the 8:30 and 9:50 services at the tent just outside the Narthex doors for food and fellowship. Or, if you go to the Titan’s game, look for the Home Team Tailgate flag in the LP Field parking lot between 9 and 11:15 am. At 10:30, you’ll have an opportunity to take communion. We are close to the border of Lots A & B on the I-24 side of the stadium, directly out from the giant, Eddie George poster. Contact Mike Schenck – mschenck87@gmail.com.

One hundred percent of your gift will support survivors of the Colorado floods and ensure UMCOR is prepared to respond whenever and wherever emergencies strike in the United States.
