Dear friends, Wednesday night's teaching on our Mission of making disciples was very special. Thanks to Brian Hicks and Allison Fasig for their leadership. We will continue this Wednesday night series called "Embody" through October 15. It's not too late to jump in. Also, I called our people last night to use a portion of your lunch hour each Thursday at noon to intercede in prayer for the plight that many are facing in the Middle East. This is a God-shaped problem that calls us to be faithful in prayer. You can do that wherever you are. Pray for those who are being persecuted and for the persecutors. Pray for our leaders, spiritual and secular. God is able! God makes a way where there is no way. Finally, it was good to welcome new members John, Rachel, and Margaret Rose Wergin to our Brentwood campus as well as Charles B. Brock, and Elizabeth, Allison, and Rachel Baldwin as new members of our Trinity Church. Welcome to our church community. I look forward to seeing you Sunday. The peace of Christ be with you! Davis
