COMMUNION OFFERING: HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF This month’s communion offering is for the UMCOR U.S. Disaster Response Fund for Hurricane Harvey relief. All donations to the Disaster Response Fund are used for relief efforts; nothing is kept for operational costs. You can give during Communion in the offering plates or text BUMCCOM and a dollar amount to 28950 (ex. BUMCCOM 50). Enjoy dinner with the family, then stay to hear our pastors and guest speaker, Dr. Rip Patton, reflect on the Book of Jeremiah while kids and youth go to programs or childcare. Dr. Patton was a Nashville Freedom Rider during the Civil Rights Movement and serves on the board of the Nashville Freedom School. Sign language interpretation and Facebook Live broadcast will be available.
