Step Up to GIVE generously to God’s work Thanks to all who have supported the construction of The Hands of Christ Women’s Clinic in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. To date we have raised almost $25,000! With our matching fund, that total goes over $50,000. We still have plenty of room to hit the maximum for our matching fund total of $50,000. If you have not yet contributed prayerfully consider a donation to help us reach our goal. This clinic serves the 80% of Hondurans living in poverty in the Tegucigalpa area with a population exceeding one million. To learn more, visit thehandsofchrist.org or contact Mike Dennison, 324-7222. CYMT’s Rev. Dietrich Kirk has Published a Book to Help Parents of Teenagers. Developed as a companion to Kenda Creasy Dean’s Almost Christian, Christianity Today’s 2011 Book of the Year, this resource offers readers a chance to reflect on how the church and parents can address the findings of the study with their own children. Raising Teenagers in an Almost Christian World is perfect for small group studies, classes, or parents at home. It’s available through CYMT, www.cymt.org, Amazon, or the Outpost (located behind the Sanctuary Narthex).
