STATEMENT "I am a man who believes in love, in God's love. My artwork is intended to represent my way of perceiving the world, nature, and people, everything from an optimistic and loving point of view, but above all, cheerful.

Christian Bakker was born in 1969, in Quito - Ecuador, a beautiful Latin American country, located in the center of the world. A place where, the Andes Highlands and the majestic Cotopaxi, the world's largest active volcano, cross by. CURATORSHIP “Christian Bakker is an eminently creative artist, with a very personal voice and technic, based on a transposition of shapes, ordered with a rich plastic sense. In his work, both dynamic and beautiful, great technical skills can be appreciated, with a perfect chromatic domain. His intellectual motivations and experimental experiences, backed up with research through his workshops, gives the necessary content to his artistic work. It is as well enriched by the admirable constancy of his presence in the International Art Galleries. Bakker's eagerness to venture into new aesthetic genres, like sculpture, has allowed him to discover other sensations, very imaginative and surprising, that dazzles and captivates. Bakker is an artist who, through a passionate aesthetic language, expresses a renewed and fresh vision of the world that surrounds him. He lets emotions take place in the presence of each of his paintings, and by doing so, appropriates them and projects the power of his inventive talent.” Dr. Inés M. Flores
