EL TRIUNFO BIOSPHERE RESERVE CONSERVATION FUND Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas | www.fondoeltriunfo.org A non-government organization dedicated to the conservation of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve Communication Strategy Consultant and Water Fund Coordinator June 2012 - Present • Designed the first communication strategy for the organization. • Coordinated the design and implementation of the first financial and technical mechanism for Integrated Water Management and Climate Change Adaptation in Mexico • Coordinated the technical studies and the design of a project portfolio with the highest return of investment in terms of environmental services. Completed the first socio-economical studies that measure the economical value of environmental services of the Sierra Madre of Chiapas. • Coordinated three conservation projects, replicating for the first time a successful model of water management outside the El Triunfo Reserve. • Systematized the first image archive of the region, focused on water, species and people. • Drafted proposal and earned grant to produce the first radio-drama with environmental issues in Chiapas, now being replicated in Guatemala. • Co-Produced the first theater play to raise awareness regarding Natural Protected Areas, biodiversity, water and climate change, being the first commercial theater play with 100 representations in Chiapas.
