DCON 2016

DCON was a truly memorable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Being surrounded by thousands of Key Clubbers who are just as passionate about service as I am. We learned all about Key Club and all of it's opportunities by attending very informative workshops. DCON re-sparked my passion for Key Club and volunteering. I would recommend to every member, especially the underclassmen, that they attend DCON next year. -Christopher Bach

L.A. River Clean Up

Ya sure it was very tiring but I know that this event is very crucial to cleaning our city up. I also wanted to help out even more since I found many trash that surround the river The experience was awesome, helping the river get cleaner every day. -Joshua Abeleda

Month of April 2016 Officer of the Month: Miguel Carpio Congratulations to our Tech Editor, Miguel Carpio, for being recognized as Officer of the Month for this month of April! Although Miguel has only recently been appointed as our Club Tech Editor, he has already shown signs of leadership, dedication, and improvement for this term! I am excited to announce that Miguel has been working on creating a brand new and improved website for our club. He has shown signs of strong leadership and the potential to help out our community. I can’t wait to see what he has in store of all of us, especially when it comes to applying his skills and talents to his position and how will think of fun and creative ways to help our club. Month of April 2016 Member of the Month: Denise Seto Congratulations to Denise Seto for being recognized as Member of the Month for this month of April! While talking to Denise, she stated that since middle school, she has heard about Key Club and made it her goal to join John Marshall Key Club during her 4 years in high school. Becoming an outstanding example to her other fellow Key Clubbers, Denise is our Member of the Month! She has volunteered to beautify our school at our monthly campus beautifications and has made the effort to attend events outside of school, such as this year’s Los Angeles Firecracker event. Knowing that Key Club has impacted so many other students from different schools goes to show that our Key Club International aims to keep on growing for the better to shape out past, present, and future members!
