L.A. Food Bank! June 26, 2018 / LA FOOD BANK
The LA Food Bank is an organization here in Los Angeles that recieves food donations from people and businesses to give food to those who are in need. They are a great organizations helping thousands of people in Los Angeles. Key Club is proud to be involved in helping the LA Food Bank collect and pack food for the people. It was a great experience, and it gave us a feeling of accomplishment and success. With all of the food that we were able to package, we fed more than 4,000 people of Los Angeles! -Calvin Manio, Bulletin Editor

Hannah Kim
Congratulations to Hannah Kim for being chosen for the month of June! Even though this term has barely started, she has already proven her commitment to her role as Vice President!Not only does she fulfill the normal duties of a Vice President such as submitting a multitude of forms, she also has continued volunteering during the summer at various events, such as the Million Word Challenge.I would like to recognize Hannah Kim for her tireless effort as an officer of Key Club and for always turning things in on time. She also offers her assistance to other officers when needed, which is very appreciated by our entire board.We know that Hannah will continue to be a devoted member of Key Club, as she has already gone above and beyond the traditional roles of a Vice President.

Al Yasin Hossain
Congratulations to Al Yasin Hossain for being recognized as the June member of the month! Al Yasin’s participation in our recent event, Million Word Challenge, demonstrated his willingness to help the community. Al Yasin has come out to most of our events and never fails to bring a positive attitude with him. His love for Key Club is definitely growing and we hope that he can come out to more events that we have in store for the club. There is no doubt that Al Yasin will demonstrate his selflessness in order to help, not only his community, but to everyone around him in the future. -Hannah Kim, Vice President

Recap
June was a great month of John Marshall Key Club. It started off with the Banquet in which we say our farewells to our IPs. Our next event was the Million Word Challenge in which some of our kc members participated in the event by giving food, and helping with games. Our final event was the LA Food Bank in which we helped package food to give to the thousands of those who are in need of food in this city.
