A Message From Your President and Bulletin Editor Hello again wolves! October is starting and that means spooky times and the coming of fall! It’s also the time where we start planning for Fall Rally! For some it’ll be your first time and for me it’ll be my last time. I can’t wait to spend a day with all of you having fun and shouting cheers with the rest of CNH! Besides from that, we got more sweet events coming right your way! Events such as our upcoming Eagle Rock Music Festival! So if you’re interested be sure to look out at all of our social media! Hope you have a spooktacular month!

Salma Sosa, President

Hey Wolves, how are you doing? I am super excited to continue to put out newsletters as bulletin editor and I hope you all are excited to read them! I encourage you all to find time to volunteer with Key Club because it is a rewarding experience to be able to see the positive impact one single individual can make on society. Don’t forget that there are three current available positions in Key Club and that we will be reviewing your submissions shortly. Stay motivated everyone! Your hard work will pay off in the end :) <3

CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION My first campus beautification experience was an eye-opener because it allowed me to see how students treat the school. I was surprised by the amount of trash the students had left behind. The look of disgust and disappointment filled my face when I stepped in chewing gum and picked up a banana peel. When I finished, the plastic gloves I wore were filled with sweat. Despite all that, I had a fun time cleaning with the key club members. I enjoyed making new friends and learning new names. It was a nice bonding experience and an opportunity to help clean the environment. I am excited for future events that key club has in store for me because there will be more chances to volunteer. I will also be able to get my community service hours for my college resume. I am particularly excited for the fall rally at six flags. I have never been to a spirit rally so I think that it will be fun to attend and experience it. Joining key club has allowed me to meet new people and build stronger connections to friends I rarely talk to. I will be looking forward to more events to spend time with my schoolmates.

HANNAH KIM Officer of the Month for September 2017

Congratulations to Hannah Kim for being recognized as Officer of the Month for September! After becoming our Junior Representative, we have seen an immense amount of growth in Hannah. We’re ecstatic for her selfless service at events such as Big Sunday’s Books n’ Brunch event. In doing so, she showcases the importance of giving people in our community a unique experience through reading. Aside from remaining active at events, she applies her input during our meetings as well. During our first meeting, Hannah eagerly volunteered to participate in the announcements in encouraging members to participate in Key Club. Additionally, Hannah connects with our members while reminding us about how satisfying it is to engage with them. She also participated in advertising John Marshall Key Club by passing out pamphlets around the school to those who were interested during Club Rush. In continuing to present during our weekly meetings, we’re excited to see what’s in store for the future.
