Officer Training Conference OTC was a really fun experience. Whether you’re an officer or member, OTC was informative to all of us. I gained more knowledge about my own position and other positions in Key Club as well. The best thing about OTC was all the other clubs we socialized with. They were all friendly and spontaneous, and I’m lucky to have met these amazing people. OTC was a great experience overall and I’m happy to have went. -Miguel Carpio

My experience at OTC was amazing, to say t he least. I did not expect to learn so much a bout being a leader and a secretary in such a short amount of time. I was able to intera ct with a bunch of fellow Key Clubbers from D03N and D03s that I already knew, and so me that I just met who I'm beginning to bec ome good friends with. Going to OTC has he lped me see how I can improve upon myself and be more efficient in my position. -Saad Tohid

OTC was a great learning experience. I was able to attend various workshops and learn about my own position as well as the other Board positions. I also had the chance to learn about the Thirst Project, an organization determined to end the Global Water crisis. Although it was about a million degrees outside, it was a great experience. I recommend that anyone who is interested in becoming a future board member, learning about other positions, and about Key Club International, take part in RTC (region training conference) later this year. -Christopher Bach

Member of the Month

Congratulations to Delvin Nurdin, for being recognized as Member of the Month for this month of July! I would like to recognize Delvin for all his hard work and passion that he has put into his club and division. Delvin has attended many our events from our LA River Beach Clean Up to last year’s annual CNH District Convention! While attending these events and volunteering, he has met different Key Clubbers – not only from our home club. No matter what, I hope that Delvin stays as an amazing example of what it means to a member of Key Club. Keep up the good work! JMHS Key Club Vice President Camea Pascual 2016-2017 5

Officer of the Month Congratulations to our Vice President, Camea Pascual; for being recognized as Officer of the Month for this month of July! Camea is DEFINITELY worthy of this award because of her amazing spirit and dedication towards our club. When I wasn’t as active, Camea stepped up and was the exceptional leader she already is! With her passion and spirit that she has for Key Club; along with her enthusiasm for serving her community, it’s easy to see why she deserves such an award. She is already one heck of a busy person dealing with her Red Cross Club, going to practice in the summer, etc.(...) But she always has the time to bond with her fellow wolves! Also, she is a member of our DLT (Division Leadership Team), whom are amazing individuals with trying to get us together and bring the best out of our surrounding clubs! Key Club wants to thank Camea for being a truly dedicated and responsible leader for this month and we all hope that you continually serve our community with wolf-pack spirit and pride! AWOOO~
