The MYS inaugural cocktail party On the eve of the MYS, the MYS inaugural cocktail party will launch the 24th show’s edition, with 500 high-profile guests. The party will be staging inside the newly designed building of the Yacht Club de Monaco, which faces the glamorous setting of Port Hercules. A unique and magnificent view by night on the 115 illuminated and exceptional superyachts of the MYS. The cocktail party will be the occasion to honour the pinnacle of the most recent superyachts exhibited in Monaco during the MYS award ceremony. Test drive of the Porsche 918 Spyder REIGNITING A DREAM Is it possible to unite the past and future of the sports car in one vehicle? With the 918 Spyder, Porsche engineers in Weissach have achieved precisely that. A super sports car that builds on the racing legacy of the Porsche 917 and the RS Spyder in its own pioneering way. The idea was to create a plug-in hybrid with three engines in a lightweight body. Generating a total of 652 kW (887 hp) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a lightning-fast 2.6 seconds, this super sports car has a top speed of 345 km/h. Yet fuel consumption is only 3.1–3.0 l/100 km (NEDC). These numbers illustrate the electrifying performance that the hybrid concept is capable of.
