The Awards Fund

Over the years, Old Lyonians, parents, staff and friends of the School have made wonderfully generous gifts to support individual projects and bursaries.

after, sadly, he died in 2016. This fund has contributed to securing bursaries and will be amalgamated into the overall JLS Awards Fund for bursaries, which will be more effective for far longer.

The Geelan Fund was set up by Old Lyonians from the Class of 1976 who were passionate about launching a Bursary Appeal in memory of their friend Jeremy Geelan (OL 1968-1975)

Our goal over the coming academic year is to focus on promoting and increasing awareness of regular giving’s positive impact and establishing funds that will give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to receive a John Lyon education.
