education university of tennessee knoxville | college of architecture & design design gpa 3.9 | cumulative gpa 3.5 class of 2017
hello! I am graduating 5th year B. Arch student from the University of Tennessee Knoxville who grew up in the Nashville area for a majority of my life. As a son of a Panamanian immigrant, my mother’s journey fed my ambitions at an early age. Coupling that with my creativity and love for problem solving, Architecture became the creative outlet to allowing me to engage a broad audience in need. Architecture’s ability to challenge and promote a conversation about greater, overarching issues makes it possible for design to operate as a vehicle to stroke the imagination. My design process relies heavily on sketching in order to create the project’s respective parti. I enjoy sketching in section as well as in perspective because it helps me figure out all the experiences the project should evoke.
