10:00-16:00 | Monk Bar | Normal admission prices apply A series of special installations commemorating the re-interment of King Richard III; including a new display chronicling the discovery of Richard III’s remains in Leicester, featuring a collection of items donated by Philippa Langley, a key figure in the excavation. There will also be archaeological finds from the Towton Battlefield and some of the remains of Richard III’s chapel at Towton, displayed for the first time.

10:00 - 16:00 | Towton Hall, Towton (3.5 miles south of Tadcaster) £3, Under 12 years FREE Falconry displays, traders, living history, guided walks, crafts and military displays are on offer plus see costumed re-enactors from York Archaeological Trust (YAT) and have a go at archaeology-themed activities!
